One-of-a-Kind Client Process: Reimagining an Ex-Wirehouse Team

Matt Meline was leading a robust practice at a major wirehouse in Des Moines, but he was an individualistic advisor in an environment that encouraged conformity. When he decided to partner with Sanctuary Wealth instead, we began working with him to understand the singular vision he had for his practice.

The PrairieFire Path™

We helped Matt articulate his unique “prairie fire” ideology, which centred around discarding old ideas to make room for new growth. This message was particularly resonating for wealthy individuals going through transitions or considering retirement.

We quickly understood that the prairie fire concept had to be reflected in his client process, so that it would be clear that the way he did things was different. We wanted to show that Matt and his team truly walked the walk in terms of their approach to wealth planning, so we built out each step in the PrairieFire Path™ in detail within his website and print collateral. This process became the centerpiece of the PrairieFire Wealth Planning brand.

Content Sharing

Following the successful launch of PrairieFire Wealth Planning in August 2019, Matt has been actively producing original content through the site’s blog feature.

Through Matt’s unique voice and viewpoint, the PrairieFire blog has helped show existing and potential clients that his ideology has depth and relevance. He continues to use this platform to share important news, to improve his search engine ranking and to further distinguish his practice from others.
